As part of our opening team, we are looking for a Jetty Barman / Barperson who thrives in a dynamic service environment and understands how exceptional hospitality is created through presence, personality, and genuine human connection.
About the role
The Jetty Barman / Barperson plays an important role in shaping the guest experience across one of the hotel’s most characterful spaces. Serving guests at the bar counter, terrace, outdoor areas, and through room service, you combine beverage craftsmanship with warm and intuitive hospitality.
You take pride in your work, stay calm under pressure, and naturally create an atmosphere where guests feel relaxed, welcomed, and personally hosted. Together with the wider Food & Beverage team, you contribute to making CORI a destination where guests return for both the experience and the feeling.
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service across all bar and guest-facing areas
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, coffees, and other beverages to CORI standards
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and build genuine connections with guests
- Support room service beverage deliveries and outdoor terrace service
- Maintain high standards of mise en place, cleanliness, and bar presentation
- Handle billing, room charges, and payments accurately using the POS system
- Collaborate closely with restaurant, kitchen, and events teams to ensure seamless service
- Prepare garnishes, syrups, infusions, and other house-made elements
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and responsible alcohol service procedures
- Contribute positively to the culture, energy, and teamwork of the opening team
You bring
Previous experience from a cocktail bar, restaurant, hotel, or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong interest in cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage culture
- A natural sense of hospitality and guest awareness
- Confidence working in a fast-paced and service-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent English skills. Danish or another Scandinavian language is an advantage
- Comfort working in a lively seaside environment with outdoor service
